FIGHTER - Fight Against International Terrorism. Discovering European Models of Rewarding Measures to Prevent Terrorism
The project aims at systematizing the state of play in the field of rewarding measures against international terrorism through a European and comparative study from a legislative, practical, historical and criminological point of view. The final goal of the project is to create one or more European models of rewarding measures in favour of terrorists who actively cooperate with judicial and police authorities authorities. Such model (or models) will be drawn taking into account the scope of application of Article 16 of Directive 2017/541/EU (whose "minimum norms" already make it optional to adopt rewarding measures in the Member States of the European Union), as well as the guidelines that will be identified on the basis of the national surveys carried out by each unit and their comparison.
