Simone Vanini is currently an ordinary magistrate in professional training (pursuant m.d. 22.10.2024). At present he's expert in Civil Law at the Department of Law of the University of Ferrara, where he has initially been PhD student (from 2016 to 2020), then research fellow in Private Law (from 2020 to 2024). Moreover, he's member of the Editorial Board of Le nuove leggi civili commentate periodical, published by Wolters Kluwer.  

He graduated with highest honours at the University of Ferrara in July 2016, discussing a thesis in Private Law entitled "Preliminary sale of real estate and ordinary revocation action".

At the end of March 2020, he obtained, with highest honours, the PhD in European Union Law and National Legal Systems at the University of Ferrara, discussing a thesis on Payment services and liability rules in unauthorized transactions in the light of Directive 2015/2366/EU.

His main research interests relate to the law of obligations and contracts, as well as to family and juvenile law and property law, while dedicating himself to the study of all sectors of Civil Law.
