Raphaële Parizot

Raphaële Parizot is a Member of the Scientific Commitee of Macrocrimes.
Raphaële Parizot is currently Professor of Criminal Law and Procedure at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne since September 2023. Prior to this, she held the position of Professor of Criminal Law and Procedure at the University of Paris Nanterre from 2015 to 2023, and at the University of Poitiers from 2011 to 2015. She also served as an Associate Professor (Maître de conférences) at the Sorbonne Law School (University of Paris 1) from 2007 to 2011.
She earned his Doctorate in Law from the Universities of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Ferrara, obtaining a dual doctorate.
As an active researcher, she has served as the Codirector of the Centre de droit pénal et de criminologie de l’Université Paris Nanterre and as the Vice-President of the Association de recherches pénales européennes (ARPE).
In addition to academic and research roles, she has been involved in several European projects funded by the European Union, focusing on topics such as criminal procedural rights, the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), and the protection of victims within the criminal process. She has also contributed to national research projects and holds administrative responsibilities within the University Paris Nanterre and at the national level.
She has also served as a visiting professor at esteemed institutions such as the University of Bologna and LUISS University of Rome.
