Michele Martinucci is currently a PhD candidate in “European Union Law and National Law” at the University of Ferrara. His research project, within the field of criminal procedural law, focuses on a critical reconstruction of the category of “abnormità” (abnormality).
He graduated in Law from the University of Ferrara in the academic year 2020/2021, discussing a thesis in criminal procedural law. Between 2022 and 2023, he was a research fellow on the project “UNI 4 JUSTICE – Universitas per la Giustizia,” and, between 2024 and 2025, on the project “Justice and Contemporary Society — In the Footsteps of Giacomo Matteotti as a Criminal Lawyer,” with a specific focus on Giacomo Matteotti’s criminal-law writings.
He obtained the qualification to practice law in 2024 and has been registered with the Bar of Ferrara since 2025.
