Francesco Oliviero has been a researcher in Private Law at the Department of Law of the University of Ferrara since September 2019 and a member of the Doctoral College in European Union Law and National Legal Systems based in Rovigo.
Graduating with honors in Law (University of Ferrara, 2008), he obtained his PhD in "Legal and Historical-Legal Comparison - curriculum in Law of Obligations and Contracts" from the University of Ferrara in 2012 and subsequently held a research fellowship at the same institution from 2012 to 2015. From January 2016 to December 2018 he was a researcher at the University of Ferrara and subsequently, from December 2018 to August 2019, at the University of Trieste. In October 2018 he obtained national qualification to practice as an associate professor.
He is the author of the monographs "Price Reduction in the Sales Contract" and "Utility and Prediality in Compulsory Easements," as well as numerous articles and contributions, including on topics of law of obligations, inheritance, consumer law, and banking-financial law.
He is a member of the editorial staff of the journals "Le nuove leggi civili commentate" (A-rated) and "Studium iuris".
