Chiara Gentile graduated in Law from the LUISS Guido Carli University in 2019, with a final grade
of 110/110 cum laude. She discussed a thesis in Constitutional Law entitled "La prescrizione del
reato tra principi costituzionali e vincoli europei" (supervisor: Prof. Raffaele Bifulco; co-supervisor:
Prof. Maurizio Bellacosa).

After her graduation, she served an internship at an International Law Firm and an internship at the
Court of Cassation, first Criminal Section.

Between 2022 and 2023 she carried out research stays, for almost a year, at Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg. 

From Novembre 2020 to March 2024 she attended the PhD program European Union Law and national legal systems at the University of Ferrara, discussing the final thesis on extraterritorial application of fundamental rights. For her thesis she received a mention from Collana di Studi "Sovranità, Federalismo, Diritti" (XII edizione), with the patronage of the association "Gruppo di Pisa".

Currently, she is research associate in Constitutional Law at LUISS Guido Carli University, and visiting scholar at the Columbia Law School.
