Vincenzo Mongillo is Full Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Rome - Unitelma Sapienza.
Author of two monographs and numerous essays in collective volumes or in scientific journals, his scientific interests and research activity mainly concern the following topics: positions of guarantee in complex organisations; criminal sanctioning system, confiscation for equivalent and alternatives to detention; criminal liability of collective entities and criminal compliance; contrasting corruption in a preventive and repressive key; food crimes; criminal labour law; criminal justice reforms.
In 2025, he was a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science – Law School, where he conducted research and taught on the topic: “The Fight Against Crime Through Criminal and Non-Criminal Confiscation Measures: A Comparative Analysis Between Italy and the UK.”
