Dr. Eleonora Anna Alexandra Dei-Cas is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher (RTdB) in Criminal Procedure, at the Department of Law of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where she teaches Criminal Procedural Law – Part I and European Criminal Procedure.
Previously (2023-2025) Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Ferrara (“Lo statuto probatorio del dato biometrico nella cornice del giusto processo”). She is the author of a monograph (“L’assenza dell’imputato. Modelli partecipativi e garanzie difensive”, published by Giappichelli, 2021), as well as numerous essays and articles published in national journals and in collective books.
In 2024 she obtained the National Scientific Habilitation (ASN) as Associate Professor in Criminal Procedure (12/G2).
