Ph.D. in Human Rights at the University of Palermo; she is currently a Research Fellow in Philosophy of Law at the University of Ferrara, Department of Law.
As a member of L'altro diritto, she also collaborates with the Italian national authority responsible for guaranteeing the rights of people who are detained or deprived of their personal liberty; she is involved in a project concerning the segregation of persons with disabilities. She is chief of the editorial staff of the Rivista di Filosofia del diritto and member of the editorial staff of Diritto&questioni pubbliche and Minority Reports. Cultural Disability Studies. She is the author of various publications, mainly concerning the rights of persons with disabilities. Among her main research interests: disability law, critical theories (of law), vulnerability, intersectionality, legal ethics, legal clinics.
